Fundraising Champion
Position Overview
We are seeking charismatic Fundraising Champions to join our team. Fundraising Champions will be responsible for raising funds, organizing campaigns, and promoting the mission of 2030 or Bust to potential donors.
Responsibilities
- Campaign Organization: Organize and execute fundraising campaigns and initiatives to support the organization’s mission.
- Fund Acquisition: Seek sponsorships and donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations.
- Donor Outreach: Engage with potential donors, build relationships, and maintain donor databases.
- Strategic Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop fundraising materials and strategies.
- Organization Engagement: Attend fundraising events and represent the organization to engage with potential supporters.
Qualifications
– Strong communication and negotiation skills.
– Passion for fundraising and ability to inspire others to contribute.
– Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
– Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
– Experience in fundraising or sales is a plus.
Time Commitment
We estimate a commitment of approximately 3-4 hours per week, with flexibility based on the volunteer’s availability. Fundraising Champions will participate in regular check-ins and collaborative meetings to align efforts with organization goals.
