Content Creator
Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated and creative Content Creators to join our team. The Content Creators will be instrumental in developing engaging content across various mediums, including blog articles, social media posts, videos, and graphics. Through compelling storytelling, this role aims to educate and inspire others about climate-related issues and the urgency of taking action.
Responsibilities
- Content Development: Create engaging and informative content that aligns with 2030 or Bust’s mission and resonates with our target audience.
- Blog Articles: Write insightful blog articles on climate-related topics, solutions, and individual actions, maintaining a consistent posting schedule.
- Social Media Engagement: Develop and execute social media content plans across platforms, ensuring a cohesive and impactful online presence.
- Video Creation: Conceptualize and produce videos that convey key messages, showcase initiatives, and inspire action.
- Graphics Design: Develop visually appealing graphics that complement written content and enhance the organization’s brand.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Social Media Management Team to align content with organization goals and messaging.
Qualifications
– Passion for environmental sustainability and addressing the climate crisis.
– Strong writing skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for a broad audience.
– Proficiency in creating engaging and shareable content for various digital platforms.
– Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with video creation tools.
– Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Time Commitment
We estimate a commitment of approximately 4-5 hours per week, with flexibility based on the volunteer’s availability. Regular check-ins and collaborative meetings will be scheduled to ensure alignment with the organization objectives.
